Rebecca's latest release In My Head Again, has been acclaimed by New Music magazine and features on the recent best selling chill out album Cafe Brazillia through Park Records.
With her debut EP almost complete Rebecca is currently showcasing her band at a series of London venues - turning heads with her unique sultry voice.
Rebecca is currently at the top of the Virgin Radio chart with her version of the new bond theme for Quantum of Solace which got immediate airplay from Virgin DJ Ben Jones this week. She achieved recent success winning the Rave on Air battle of the bands
in June and performed at Colston Hall supporting Simon Fowler as a finalist of the Unsigned Song Competition 2008 with the hit song She's got a Weapon. The eagerly awaited video for this track is out now! See video page.
The legendary bitter sweet styles of Julie London, Ella Fitzgerald and Nina Simone have all had important stylistic influences on Rebecca's music.
The more contemporary styles of Amy winehouse, Sade and Portishead have inspired Rebecca to discover her own distinctive sound.
Rebecca has been in LA where she recorded part of her album at Motion City with Martin Blassick, and also Jay Condiotti of NoizyNinja Productions who co-wrote the bondesque track, She's got a Weapon.
